About Me
Morgan Stephens, CERP
Ever since I was young, I had a nurturing heart towards animals. I loved every animal and always wanted to help them. I began working in my local Veterinary clinic at the age of fifteen. I started at the bottom, but was able to work my up to a Vet Tech where I learned so much about the basic care of many animals! It was also around this time that I got my first horse, after years of begging and pleading to my parents. I also was able to learn care needs for her as she had some medical ailments. After six years of working as a Vet Tech I knew that Rehabilitation of animals was my passion, so I decided to further my
education. I attended the University of Tennessee’s CERP (Certified Equine Rehab Practitioner) where I learned the foundation of the Equine therapies I provide today. I have since attended many continuing education clinics and courses to further my knowledge. I love to learn, especially when it comes to the horse. I am a firm believer that no two horses are the same and the horses are my greatest teachers after all.
My passion is long-term rehab or lameness cases as I believe so many horses struggle with incorrect posture. Just from the way we train, ride, and their compensatory patterns. Teaching a horse to move the way they are biomechanically designed too can make amazing success.
When I am not working with client horses, I am probably working with my own horses! I also enjoy spending time with my husband on our family farm where we raise show pigs and have some other fun animals.
I look forward to answering any questions you may have and connecting with you to get your horse(s) Feelin’ Fine!
